OUR HISTORY AND BELIEFS

Every great school begins with a vision — and for Sri Bestari International School (SBIS), that vision started in 2017 under the guidance of Lang Education Sdn Bhd (LESB), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Land & General Berhad (L&G). The goal was simple yet profound: to provide an international education that is both high in quality and rich in character for families in Bandar Sri Damansara and beyond.

Just two years later, in 2019, SBIS proudly moved into its purpose-built campus — a vibrant space designed to inspire learning, creativity, and growth. With modern classrooms, dedicated science and ICT labs, music and performing arts studios, culinary and creative spaces, and equipped sports facilities, the campus reflects the school’s belief in nurturing both the mind and heart.

In 2022, SBIS celebrated a defining moment — the graduation of its first IGCSE cohort, achieving remarkable results and earning Top in Malaysia awards in Global Perspectives, and Coordinated Sciences.

Between 2022 and 2025, SBIS has continued to flourish — earning Top in the World for Mandarin Chinese, strengthening its EduVenture programme, expanding opportunities in sports, performing arts, and international experiences, along with building a community where students learn to lead with purpose and integrity.

Today, SBIS continues to strive to be among Kuala Lumpur’s leading international schools, proudly guided by its motto “We Learn, Lead & Inspire” and core values of G.R.I.T. (Growth Mindset, Resilience, Integrity, and Teamwork) — shaping future-ready learners who make a difference wherever they go.
