Two recognitions. One learning journey. A shared commitment to preparing students for the future.
Sri Bestari International School (SBIS) has received two major education awards in 2026, recognising excellence across different stages of its educational offering.
Most recently, SBIS was awarded Best Early Years Programme (International School) at the Malaysia Education Star Awards (MESA) 2026. The recognition marks back-to-back success for the school, which has now received the award for two consecutive years, reflecting the consistency and quality of its Early Years provision.
Earlier in August 2026, SBIS also received the International School Excellence Award 2026 at the Malaysia Education & TVET Awards (META), recognising the school's broader commitment to educational excellence, innovation and student development. While these awards celebrate achievement, they also reflect a wider vision for the future.

Building Future Pathways
Guided by the long-term vision of Land & General Berhad (L&G), through its education arm Lang Education Sdn Bhd, SBIS continues to strengthen learning experiences that prepare students for an increasingly global and rapidly evolving world. Central to this is L&G's Future Pathways strategy, which focuses on creating meaningful opportunities that connect school learning with future academic and career aspirations.
One example is the introduction of German as a Modern Foreign Language within the school's core curriculum. As one of the earlier international schools in Malaysia to incorporate German in this way, SBIS is broadening students' global perspectives while laying foundations for those who may wish to pursue tertiary education opportunities in Germany, home to some of the world's leading universities in engineering, technology and applied sciences.
This pathway is complemented by the school's structured STEM programme, which develops problem-solving, innovation and real-world application across science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Together, the German and STEM pathways provide students with skills and opportunities that align with the demands of an increasingly international and technology-driven future.
Beyond academics, students are encouraged to develop leadership, collaboration and communication skills through a wide range of Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs), supporting their growth as confident and well-rounded individuals.
Recognition Today. Building for Tomorrow.
These achievements reflect the collective efforts of dedicated teachers and staff, motivated students, and supportive families who continue to contribute to the strength of the SBIS community.
As the school moves forward, its focus remains on strengthening strong foundations while creating new pathways that help students discover their interests, realise their potential and prepare confidently for the opportunities ahead. The recognition celebrates how far we have come. The journey ahead is about where our students can go.
